aaron + elana | kona, big island hawai’i in home session

Aaron & Elana moved to the Big Island from Utah on a HUGE leap of faith! Aaron had worked in the corporate world for over 10 years, and Elena worked from home. As she adjusted her freelance marketing job to fit his corporate schedule, they both realized that neither was satisfied with the direction their work lives were taking them. They decided to trade headaches and stress for palm trees and salt air, and launched their own business together – Derive Collective. Now they are are social media consultants and help other businesses up their social media presence. I got the chance to meet and photograph Aaron and Elena when they modeled for a mentor session I did in Kona on the Big Island. They offered up their home which they had just remodeled, and welcomed us into their sweet home!

Not only are they the cutest freaking couple EVER, but they also have the kindest hearts on the planet. Just after spending a few hours with them, I could tell how big and full their hearts are for each other and the world around them. Not to mention they are legit KILLING the social media game.
