“Nick, what’s the one thing you love most about Megan?”

“Everything.”

I smiled so big at that answer. Because the truth of Nick’s words had been reverberated throughout the entire day. The vows they lovingly cried through, the jittery nerves of promising forever with your best friend, and every time Nick pulled Megan close for a sweet kiss.

Nick and Megan met in high school, but didn’t start dating until after Nick graduated. Once Megan finished high school as well, they both decided to go to the University of Kansas (also my alma mater, rock chalk!). It was on that campus in Lawrence, Kansas that their love grew even more.

In Megan’s very first email to me, she said, “I’ve never doubted Nick’s the one I wanted to be with.” I saw that simple sentence come to life while watching them (and everyone else) tear up while they vowed forever to each other. They got married on September 9, 2017 at The Venue at Willow Creek in Kansas City, Kansas, surrounded by close family and friends. The entire day was full of many gorgeous details (so much I was giving heart eyes everywhere I turned!), but the thing that stood out to me most was the love their families and friends showed them.

Congrats Nick and Megan, you newlyweds you! I pray for blessings and adventures for you both as you begin your new journey as husband and wife!
