How do I even begin to express Eddie and Jenny’s wedding day. I cried when Eddie choked up while reading Jenny a sweet note during their first look. I cried as they held back tears speaking their handwritten vows to each other during the ceremony. And I cried again when Jenny’s sister Gemma, the maid of honor, looked at Eddie during her toast and said, “I finally have a brother. I love you Eddie.”
From the stunning florals to the dusty garden color scheme, to the mexican flare intertwined throughout the day, I was almost overwhelmed by all the beautiful things… almost. 😉 Their ceremony was bilingual, both in Spanish and English representing both their cultures. Then Jenny’s parents surprised her with a miriachi band to play during their reception. The dance floor was lit with the best Latino jams you’ve ever heard, and the tacos served during dinner were absolutely delicious.
Their wedding day was uniquely them and so gorgeous, but what truly made Jenny and Eddie’s wedding day one of my favorites was how in love these two are with each other. Shooting them was a dream because they are so obviously passionate about each other. I barely had to direct them when shooting their bridals, they were so completely wrapped up in each other. A good bulk of their bridal portraits happened when we snuck out of their reception for those perfect sunset pictures. Had these two not prioritized photos, we would have never got my favorite images from the day. Even when I so graciously asked them if they wouldn’t mind laying in the grass for some intimate shots, I barely finished the question before Jenny went, “YAS!” I couldn’t ask for a more adventurous up-for-anything couple. Jenny and Eddie are so perfect for each other, and I cannot wait to watch their adventure unfold.
Felicidades recién casados!!
